Lakeland Players has been in existence for 50 years! We have enjoyed many memorable moments over that time, one of which was the Dance pictured at right with Little Mary from "Little Mary Sunshine" as portrayed by Dodie Berry of West Bloomfield Township. With elaborate sets, wonderful costumes and excellent musical direction supplied by Sharon Thomas of Waterford, Lakeland Players was able to pull of a truly unique musical with Little Mary. Little Mary Sunshine was a great fit for the entire group as there were singing and non-singing roles for a variety of actors and singers. This is always a great choice for everyone in the group as it gives non-singing members a chance to get that "musical" experience without having to worry about being a musician. |
